Online programs are offered at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and students may choose to earn a traditional degree or enter a program designed for working adults or non-degree visiting students. In addition to its degree programs, the university also offers certificate programs, a GED program, and assistance preparing for the CLEP exam.
The university’s online graduate degrees are either designed as 100 percent online programs or programs that require some limited time in a classroom. Options include the Executive Doctoral Program in Business, an Executive MBA, a Master of Public Administration, and a Master of Science in Finance for Professionals.
Students interested in online graduate study may also earn a Master of Science in Information Technology or a Master of Arts in Management for Public Safety & Homeland Security Professionals, as well as a Master of Science in Publishing or a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, which is a degree completion program. Timelines to completion vary, but most degrees may be earned in as little as one or two years.
Online graduate programs often feature different tracks and concentrations that allow students the opportunity to tailor their degree to their personal interests. Pace University is located in New York State and features three campuses in Manhattan and Westchester County. Pace University Application Requirements
The application process for undergraduates at Pace University begins when the student chooses Early Decision, Early Action, or Regular Decision for his or her deadline. Students must also fill out a FAFSA form when they apply to the university if they want to qualify for financial aid. Required documents include the official application, application fee of $50, and two letters of recommendation from a counselor or teacher.
Students must also submit a written essay or personal statement on a topic selected by the university, as well as have their standardized test scores delivered to the university. For graduate students interested in studying at Pace University, the university requires the official application, an application fee of $70, and two letters of recommendation. Also required are a resume, personal statement, and all official transcripts.
Tuition and Financial Aid
Tuition for undergraduate students at Pace University is $44,714, with an additional fee of $1,732 required. Students who require room and board in New York City will pay $20,810, and students who live on the Westchester campus pay an additional $16,362. The university estimates books will cost $800, and that personal expenses will come to around $1,594. The school also estimates transportation costs to reach $600.
For graduate tuition costs, tuition rates are based on the program a student enters. Students in graduate business programs pay $1,306 per credit, students in the Master of Fine Arts from the Actors Studio Drama School pay $44,528 per year, and students in the Physician Assistant Online Completion Program pay $825 per credit. Students in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program pay $1,608 per credit.
Students who apply for financial aid and submit their FAFSA form on time will receive an Electronic Student Aid Report (eSAR) that will provide details on the different types of aid that will be available to the student at the time of enrollment. Communications about financial aid from the university are delivered electronically to students. Some students may qualify for additional financial aid for classes in the summer, and other students may need to apply for alternative student loans to cover their total cost of tuition.
Residents of New York State can send in a Tuition Assistance Program application that may result in additional financial aid awards. Applicants who want to apply for Direct Parent PLUS Loans or Direct Graduate PLUS Loans must submit an additional application. Students with financial need are encouraged to send their applications early for all financial aid types.
